In pre-COVID times, the bars, theaters, and bookstores of Chicago were bursting with personal storytelling events almost every night of the week, where friends and neighbors could come together and connect with one other via humor, vulnerability. and sometimes a few tears.
Things are beginning to open up, and we hope to be back soon, but we're not quite there yet.
After two sold out runs in 2020, we are pleased to once again present the opportunity to come together once again, in the safe and controlled outdoor environment of North Center's spacious new square, to celebrate our shared humanity with a unique evening of personal stories from some of Chicago's finest storytellers. We'd love for you to join us.
Within a week of the performance, you will receive an email with full details. We'll also ask if you have additional party members who bought tickets separately, so that we can seat you with them.
We will be abiding by all current local and national safety guidelines.
1) Limited tickets will be sold to ensure that there will be some proper spacing between parties. Clearly marked zones will be provided to maintain the distance. You will be required to bring your own chair, blanket, or legs from which to view the performance.
2) Masks will not be required if you are vaccinated. All of the science, worldwide, points to outdoor transmission being basically non-existent, with the possible exception of densely packed crowds spending many hours together. We expect you to be a decent person and mask up if you are not yet vaccinated.
3) Traffic flow in and out will be facilitated to prevent congestion.
4) The performers will be at least 15-20 feet away from the front row, up on a stage at all times. The microphone and stand will be thoroughly sanitized between performers and disposable mic covers will be employed as a precaution.
5) All safety measures will be strictly monitored and enforced.
